Unauthorised Deduction of Wages
Under the Employment Rights Act 1996 you have the right not to suffer from unauthorised wage deductions. It offers you 'guaranteed payment' - the guarantee of wages even where an employer is unable to supply you with work during your hours of employment. Also your employer is unable to take deduction from your wages without your permission unless it states it can be done in your contract. |
